The Story Behind VB-Film™

In veterinary medicine, the best solutions are often the ones that make care simpler, safer, and more effective—not more complicated.

VB-Film, LLC was founded on that belief.

For more than a decade, David Stowell and Walter Escobar built their reputation serving the veterinary community through MT Venom, LLC delivering trusted, life-saving VenomVet™ antivenin used by clinics across the country. They spent years working alongside veterinarians, understanding not just the medicine—but the realities of practice: time constraints, cost pressures, and the constant need for reliable outcomes.

Again and again, one challenge kept surfacing—wound care.

Bandaging, while essential, often came with trade-offs. Frequent rechecks. Complications. Time-intensive care for doctors and technicians. Costs that added up for both clinics and animal owners. There was a clear need for something better.

So they set out to build it.

VB-Film™ is the result of years of research, development, and testing—designed from the ground up to rethink how veterinary wound care should work. At its core is a simple but powerful idea: combine the proven healing properties of natural honey with advanced hydrogel technology to create a smarter, more effective bandage system.

SO advanced that it has a patent pending with the USPTO.

The result : VB-Film™ is a veterinary hydrogel wound dressing with honey designed for the treatment of animal wounds, burns, cuts, and lacerations. Trusted by veterinary professionals, VB-Film provides an advanced veterinary bandage system that supports optimal healing, reduces bandage changes, and improves clinical efficiency in modern veterinary practice.

VB-Film isn’t just a product—it’s a commitment to advancing animal care through thoughtful innovation.

Because better tools lead to better outcomes. And better outcomes are what matter most.
